Bifurcated Fan

Bifurcated axial fans are designed to move large volumes of hot and/or corrosive air at low pressure. The bifurcated or ‘split’ casing diverts the air flow on either side of the motor compartment and rejoins again downstream, leaving the motor open to clean, ambient air outside the casing.

Applications:

Bifurcated fans can be used for extracting large volumes of warm, dusty or corrosive air at relatively low pressures.
